With a population of around 44,000, Orange is one of Australia's most significant regional cities and has grown to be the hub of NSW's Central West. It's a booming city with great facilities including hatted restaurants, modern cafes, award winning wineries, excellent private and public schools, extensive sporting facilities, its own airport and one of the leading hospitals in the State along with all the facilities that come with such a vibrant and popular city. With a strong membership of 22,000 and a dedicated staff of around 220, the club group has three sites - the Main Club, the Country Club with two bowling greens and the Wentworth Golf Club which includes an 18-hole golf course and a wonderful new $20 million Clubhouse which will open in July 2024. In addition, the Club operates a 10 court tennis complex and a popular 78 room motel (Mercure Orange). The Group has a gaming machine installation of around 250. OESC is certainly the heart of Orange and its surrounds and is led by a strong Board of Directors consisting of nine (9) members. The club manages an annual revenue of around $30 million and is proud of its commitment to the community through giving back via high level grants and various ongoing support. The Club is going through an exciting period of growth, is in a good financial position, and with this in mind, we are looking for a commercially astute finance professional who has the proven experience in working closely with a Board and senior managers to help guide key business decisions and objectives. This opportunity offers more than just a Finance Department role. We would like the successful candidate to be involved and contribute to the overall business and thus be a key stakeholder in the organisation to assist in driving its continued success. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and distributing club supplies across our multiple departments and venues. Your key responsibilities will include: - All aspects of inventory control and the inventory cycle, including ordering, receiving, storing, stock rotation and distribution of inventory. - Work Health Safety within each department and following procurement policies, procedures, and systems. - Working in accordance with Food Safety requirements. - Stock taking and stock control. - Data entry and monitoring inventory par levels. - Working closely with all operational areas at the Club, both front and back of house.
