We understand that to make this venue even more special we need the expertise of a visionary Head Chef that wants to establish Wentworth as the premier destination for locals and tourists alike. Requirements As Wentworth Head Chef, you will be responsible for. • Create and deliver multiple menus across all eateries and events that entice and excite. • Financial performance, working to budgets and maintaining GPs. • Being present in real-time, at the forefront and leading by example. • Ensuring food presentation, quality, and standards are enticing and consistent. • Leading a team of dedicated trade professionals. • Responding to customer needs. • Food Safety is a priority, along with the safety of your team. • Creating synergy between the Wentworth food offering and that of the OESC Group Venues. As an experienced Chef with evidenced leadership capability, you will possess the following: • Similar experience in overseeing large-scale, multifaceted food offerings. • Outstanding communication skills with a professional, experienced, and calm demeanour • Strong financial acumen, including food costs, gps, menu costs, and budgets. • Leadership and people management skills that inspire your team. • Experience in performance-managing teams. • Outstanding food knowledge that reflects your passion for a customer-centric food offering. • Ability to lead, coach, and train chefs at all levels so they can grow and achieve within our organisation. We are seeking a unique individual for this high-profile position to launch this new venue as Head Chef and ensure first impressions exceed expectations.
