    ORANGE EX-SERVICES' BOWLS CLUB Orange Ex-Services' Club Lawn Bowling green is situated within the Orange Health Precinct. The club was initially established to serve as Occupational Therapy for the xxx numbering about 1,500 people and female nurses and male attendants numbering about 500 and Administration staff. The first green was constructed by ground staff and trustee xxxx. After the original club suffered from financial problems in the 1970's, Orange Ex-Services' Club decided to take over control of the Country Club in 1986. Help is close at hand RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING STATEMENT Orange Ex-Services’ Club, herein referred to as “OESC”, and inclusive of all OESC licensed group venues acknowledges the responsibility and privilege of holding a license to operate gaming machines and other forms of gambling within the state of NewSouth Wales. Our organisation encourages the responsible use of gambling facilities within each venue and abides by the NSW Gaming Machines Act and subsequent Regulations. This Board endorsed policy sets the organisations commitment to the provision of a framework to endorse and fulfill legislative requirements and principles of the responsible conduct of gaming, including resource commitment for continued evolving in-line with Government and Industry best practice solutions.     Who Are We ORANGE EX-SERVICES’ CLUB IS SEEKING NOMINATIONS FOR OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS Are you a person seeking career progression, a leadership opportunity or a role that increases your involvement within the Orange community? Be a part of the Orange Ex-Services’ Club direction and development process of significant current and upcoming projects. This role will also include being involved in the Club’s financial viability and sharing knowledge from ongoing leadership training. We are looking for individuals who possess a people-orientated leadership style and are community-minded, with the ability to navigate business structures and can provide innovative concepts. A successful nominee would ideally demonstrate the following key requirements: Strategic and innovative. Ability to work in a diverse team. Capacity to attend monthly Board meetings and other essential meetings. Commitment to attend learning and development programs, including leadership and strategy. Applicants must have held an active Orange Ex-Services’ Club membership for at least three months immediately before their nomination for election. If this opportunity resonates, we would like to invite interested parties to attend an informational meeting held on Monday, 10 February 2025, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Orange Ex-Services’ Club, 231-243 Anson Street.
