


About the Role
Orange Ex-Services’ Club, is currently seeking a dedicated Apprentice Greenkeeper for an immediate start to join our Greenkeeping Team. This is a great opportunity to kick start your career and learn your trade from a highly experienced team of Greenkeepers.
Requirements
As part of the apprenticeship, you will be exposed to both Golf Course and Bowling Green construction, preparation, maintenance, and repair while also studying a Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management.
The successful candidate will have:
A driver’s license and own transport
A commitment to being reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
A commitment to working safely.
What do we provide?
Full Time position
Exposure to greenkeeping duties on both the Golf Course and Bowling Greens.
All course and administration fees paid for Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management.
Rostered and paid to attend Kurri Kurri Tafe, including travel and accommodation expenses.
Access to the OESC Employee Rewards Program.
All uniforms, tools, and footwear.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of Greenkeepers working across multiple sites with an emphasis on learning how to present and maintain our 18-hole Golf Course and Bowling Greens to the highest standards. This position is remunerated in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 Apprentice or Adult Apprentice.
