As part of the apprenticeship, you will be exposed to both Golf Course and Bowling Green construction, preparation, maintenance, and repair while also studying a Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management.

The successful candidate will have:

• A driver’s license and own transport

• A commitment to being reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required.

• A commitment to working safely.

• Exposure to greenkeeping duties on both the Golf Course and Bowling Greens. 

• All course and administration fees paid for Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management.

• Rostered and paid to attend Kurri Kurri Tafe, including travel and accommodation expenses.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of Greenkeepers working across multiple sites with an emphasis on learning how to present and maintain our 18-hole Golf Course and Bowling Greens to the highest standards. This position is remunerated in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 Apprentice or Adult Apprentice.
