Orange Ex-Services’ Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Gardener/Labourer to join our Grounds team. This is a full-time role with rostered weekend work, reporting directly to our Head Greenkeeping Superintendent.

About the Role
As part of our team, you’ll help maintain and present the Club’s gardens and outdoor spaces to the highest standard. The role is hands-on and varied, combining general gardening with grounds support alongside our experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
General garden maintenance including mowing, weeding, planting, mulching, and pruning
Assisting with the upkeep of lawns, trees, and landscaped areas
Supporting ground staff with broader maintenance tasks
Safe use and basic care of tools and machinery
Ensuring outdoor areas remain tidy, safe, and welcoming for members and guests
What We’re Looking For
Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both in a team and independently
Any level of gardening or groundskeeping experience welcome
Certificate in Horticulture (advantageous but not essential)
Flexibility to work rostered weekends and during busy periods (tournaments and Club events)
