


About the Role
The Maintenance person will be responsible for general trade service and maintenance jobs, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Maintenance person will be responsible for general trade service and maintenance jobs, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Scope of work will include but not limited to a variety of emergency and non-emergency maintenance and general repair tasks across the multiply venues.
In this fulltime role you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work with a dedicated team of trades working across multiply sites.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general maintenance services across five separate locations, ensuring consistent upkeep and functionality of facilities.
Execute all aspects of carpentry work.
Repairing leaking toilets, taps, and bathroom fittings
Replacing or re programming TVs and remotes
Fixing or refitting skirting boards and trim
Repairing or laying flooring (vinyl, tiles, carpet tiles, etc.)
Minor concrete work (patching paths, laying small slabs)
Repairing paving and exterior walkways
Basic plastering and patching of walls and ceilings
Hanging shelves, mirrors, and wall fixtures
Replacing door handles, locks, and hinges
Cleaning and maintaining gutters and drains.
Minor tiling work (e.g., repairing or replacing tiles, grouting)
Assisting with basic electrical repairs and maintenance under the supervision of our qualified electrician (e.g., replacing light fittings, repairing power outlets).
What We are Looking For
Proficient in the safe and effective use of power tools and hand tools for a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
Competent in accurate measuring and leveling for installation, repair, and construction tasks.
Competency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
Possess basic computer skills, including the ability to use maintenance software, email, and digital reporting tools.
A sound understanding of WHS and relevant codes of practice.
Ability to work independently with a commitment to safety and guest privacy.
Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
On call rotating roster.
Qualifications | Licences
Trade Qualification Carpentry (preferred, but not essential)
White Card and /or Working at Heights certification (essential)
Hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (essential)
