What is ClubGRANTS?
The ClubGRANTS scheme was introduced in 1998 by the NSW Government. In 2014, ClubGRANTS delivered more than $100 million in funding to thousands of charities, sporting teams and community groups, and more than $1 billion has been provided since the scheme began.
ClubGRANTS allows larger registered Clubs in NSW to contribute to the provision of services in their local community. In the Orange Local Government Area, the Orange Ex-Services’ Club participates in this program.


What will ClubGRANTS fund?
Category 1 ClubGRANTS are for community welfare and social services, community development, community health services, employment assistance activities and other projects aimed at improving living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
Orange LGA ClubGRANTS Committee Funding priorities:

Children (0 to 14 years)
Parenting skills.
Family support.
Improved health programs.
Recreational programs to build relationships with young people.
Assistance with recreational activities for young people.
Young people (15 to 24 yrs)
Improved educational outcomes, employability and access to education.
Temporary housing & crisis accommodation.
Counselling services.
Alcohol and other drug programs.
Recreational programs to build relationships with young people.
Women
Self-esteem building & leadership building.
Domestic violence prevention & assistance.
Families
Counselling and mental health.
Parenting skills.
Family support.
Temporary housing & crisis accommodation for families.
Domestic violence prevention & intervention.
Older people (aged 55+)
Affordable housing.
Improved services.

People from non-English speaking background
Aboriginal &
Torres Strait Islanders
People with disabilities
Emergency services
Language support and English language training.
Support for social participation by culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) people.
Employment services for CALD people.
Educational services for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) young people.
Social inclusion of ATSI people.
ATSI culture and heritage.
Support for social participation by people with disability.
ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest grant programs, providing more than $100 million in cash each year to a variety of worthy causes across NSW.

Please read the ClubGRANTS information on the ClubGRANTS website carefully for details on eligibility and applying online.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
AND WILL CLOSE AT 11:45PM ON 30 APRIL 2021
The committee will meet to assess applications, with applicants notified by mid-August 2021. A presentation evening for recipients will be held on Tuesday 31 August 2021. Funds will be transferred into recipient bank accounts by 31 August 2021.
